Keyton and Kyla carved the pumpkin this year and my mom made Kyla's costume-included was a piece of "meat". Kyla was very excited to dress up this year and she looked so cute!

Seward, Alaska

This past weekend we went to Seward. It's a cute town right on Resurrection Bay. It had beautiful views and the marina was pretty cool. The drive was absolutely amazing too.

Fourth of July

Eagle River hosted fireworks at midnight on July 3rd. Below is a picture of the sky. I was curious to see how Alaska celebrated the Fourth of July, and we discovered that Alaskans definitely get into the Fourth! We went to watch the show and the next day went to Dowtown Anchorage for the Fourth of July Parade. Keyton was also in the parade (front passenger seat in the HMMV).
