Pictures from Alaska

These are some pictures Keyton took since he has been in Alaska. It is increasingly getting lighter, later there. Keyton found the picture of the bear on the internet, so he didn't take it, nevertheless, it is still a bit frightening!

Tackeling the Rock Wall!

Today Kyla made great strides and showed us how she is growing up. Today at the Easter Celebration on Fort Carson Kyla wanted to go on the rock climbing wall. This was a first for Kyla, as normally she is quite shy. She bravely stood in line and voiced that she wanted the only female attendent to help her when it was her turn. I encouraged her to speak to the young girl herself and ask if she could help Kyla. Kyla then went over to ask the girl herself, with no problems. Of course the girl agreed and when it was Kyla's turn she climbed about six feet up and she was so proud of herself!!

Easter Celebration

Today we went to Fort Carson for their 2008 Easter Celebration. My mom came with us and Kyla "reluctantly" sat on the Easter Bunnies lap. But of course I did my motherly duties and kindly "made" her do it!

A Visit to the Past

Jamie, Kelly, and I went to Fort Collins a couple of weeks ago and were reminded of how old we are getting. We had a great time reminiscing of the good ol' times. It was a nice day to just get out and revisit the past. The town had grown so much and the student center looked completely different.
